Dates

The Summer 2024 program spans Sunday, May 26th, 2024 to Saturday, August 10th, 2024. Incoming residents are able to provide expected arrival and departure dates within this range by visiting the departure/arrival hub.

We are no longer accepting new reservations for summer 2024.

Those who are affiliated with the University (NYU students, or anyone taking classes, volunteering, or working at NYU this summer) are eligible to stay for either Summer Session I, Summer Session II, or both, whichever aligns best with the dates of their affiliation. Summer Session I runs from Sunday, May 19th to Saturday, July 6th. Summer Session II runs from Sunday, June 30th to Friday, August 16th.

There is no deadline to register for summer housing, but please be aware that our residence halls may fill.

Reservation Flexibility

Individual residents may select any arrival and departure dates that fall within their reservation dates without impacting their housing or dining charges by visiting the departure/arrival hub. After registering for housing, if you need to change your reservation in a way that does impact your rate, please submit a change request on the housing portal opens in a new window as soon as possible and no fewer than 7 days in advance of the earliest affected date. Note that participants of Group Housing Blocks may not be eligible to change their reservation without prior written approval from their group coordinator.

2024 Rates

All summer residents are charged a flat rate by room type opens in a new window for their summer in NYU Housing.

If a registrant will be enrolled in coursework for only one half of the summer, they can register to stay for the corresponding dates to be charged a partial-summer rate. Enrollment is verified on a rolling basis.

Residents in traditional style accommodations (no kitchens) are required to maintain a meal plan opens in a new window during the summer. Minimum meal plan pricing is listed alongside the housing rates for these accommodations.
