Group Housing Blocks

Organizations may reserve a block of rooms at an NYU residence hall by creating a group reservation. Group reservations hold a cluster of rooms for members of the requesting organization, company, or program.

Eligibility

Group reservations must be requested by a program, university, company, or organization; group reservations requested by collections of individuals wishing to live together for non-programmatic reasons will be denied. NYU affiliation is not required, but non-NYU organizations whose programs are very similar in nature to any NYU sponsored program or coursework are not eligible for group housing accommodations. Housing reservations are not for resale.

Roommate Consolidation Policy

Please be aware that while we do our best to place your group participants with other members of the group, they may still have roommates or suitemates who are not part of the group due to gender imbalances, late registrations, Spring Semester remain-in-room requests by NYU students, and other factors. NYU reserves the right to consolidate vacancies within the University housing system even where it places group and non-group summer residents together.
